Chris Hammond Gallery is a private gallery project located in my own home where I select key works by artists, which I live with and respond to over a number of months. I will be reflecting on the work on a daily basis some of which will be made available on this site. The exhibition is open by invitation only although a number of Chess Club events may take place over the duration of each exhibition for which limited tickets may be advertised and available for purchase.

The second exhibition is a series of new works by Amikam Toren. Started in January before the lockdown, these new paintings foresee the internalised nature of personal space that we have all had to contemplate over the last few months.

Chris Hammond was the founding director of Mot International which operated between 2002 and 2016. He is currently the founding director of CMH Contemporary Art and Lectures at Goldsmiths, University of London.
